Lakelands 9 Hole Academy Course
This academy course was designed by Steve Ritson for Roger Griffiths Associates for Lakeland Holiday Village at Grange over sands in the Lakedistrict owned by Bourne Leisure as part of extensive modernisation and landscaping improvements to the holiday park.
The golf course was laid out over an old world war II airfield, including several listed buildings. The route of the course was carefully laid out to provide a variety of challenging golf holes in terms of length and direction, which are aimed at being fun for the whole family and with large open areas and wildflower rough requiring low maintenance.
